The sleepy English village of Dibley is in an uproar over their new
vicar. Not only is she a woman (the hilarious Dawn French of the comedy duo French &
Saunders), but she seems to have no sense of convention at all! And her antics in the
pulpit are not to be mentioned. (But they are to be enjoyed.) This Vicar of Dibley set
includes the second six episodes of this delightful BBC comedy:
- The Easter Bunny--As the holiday approaches, Geraldine finds that Dibley has its
very own "real" Easter Bunny.
- The Christmas Lunch Incident--Hoping for a quiet Christmas, Geraldine suddenly
finds she is juggling two, then three, then four dinner invitations.
- Engagement--Geraldine plays cupid to two painfully shy parishioners, but her aim
is a little off.
- Dibley Live--Dibley gets its own radio show and a shocking revelation goes out
over the airwaves.
- Celebrity Vicar--Disaster comes to the village because of Geraldine's newfound
celebrity. The only way out requires her to don a tutu!
- Love and Marriage--A stop and start union looks to be well underway when a
revealed secret threatens to jam the works for good.
